Comment and Trackback Spam

I finally forced my lazy a$$ to confront the amount of comment and trackback spam that I have been receiving. Sincerest apologies if you have made a comment and received notification emails when these spam comments have been hitting. The blacklist module I was using was obviously not working but I have since found an akismet extension for ExpressionEngine which will hopefully do the job.

Thanks to kyte for giving me the push that I needed to deal with this.

So how’s it going?  I love akismet, been using it on wordpress for ages, but its great that people are making ports for other blog and forum systems
