He who hesitates is lost

Someone said that once - I don’t know who - don’t even care much - but it is true.

Generally I am finding that blog topics occur to me at all sorts of funny times. I therefore will usually write them down somewhere and later think about them some more and make a post out of them if they are worthy (or if I have nothing else to say). Recently, I have had two topics that I have been mulling over:

1. the idea of having a niche for a blog as recommended by many of the “experts” in the blogosphere; and

2. increasing responsibility and the effect it has had on my lifestyle.

You may be thinking by now “what is this wanker talking about and when will he get to the point?”, well I am getting there.

As it turns out, 2 of the blogs that I have been reading regularly lately have posted on these very topics.

RT at untwistedvortex talks about his views on the idea of a blog needing a niche and blogpaul discusses the fact that he doesn’t have a dirt bike anymore.

So there you go - I’ll need to think some more and make sure I’m not seen as stealing content from these guys. RT and Blogpaul have some good things to say so you should go and check them out. But make sure you come back and see if I have said anything worthwhile.
